How to Build a Home Search Wish List

One of the best ways to make your home search easier is to build a clear wish list before you start touring. Without one, buyers can waste time looking at homes that do not fit their priorities or feel stuck when comparing very different options.

The strongest wish lists are practical. They reflect real daily needs, not just a dream version of a house.

Start with your life, not the listing photos

Think about how you live now and how you want to live in the next few years. Your home should support your routine, your work, your family needs, and the way you spend time.

Separate must-haves from nice-to-haves

This is the most important step. Must-haves are the features you truly need. Nice-to-haves are the features you would enjoy but could live without.
